We have seen so many castles in our area and they are all really amazing. Wish we could take everyone to see them.
This was our favorite castle so far, it was a good hike to get to the top and we were racing the rain on the way back.

The stair cases always amaze me how they are still standing and very solid.
I think Riley was thinking about base jumping also.

All Kit and I talked about was if you could base jump from this castle, I think we need a skydiving fix... At least I know I need one!
This was our guide, he was very nice to take us around and tell us the history. He also rushed us back to the car right before the rain it.
We asked our guide where the castle went, and to our surprise the town below used the stones to build their houses. He said his father and grandfather used the stones on the house they still have.
The view is always amazing at these castles, they really did pick the highest points so they could see every enemy coming.
